Goat Yoga & Wine Tasting at Terhune Orchards, July 26
Unplug and venture outdoors for a fun and unique opportunity to explore the orchard, meet goats, practice yoga, sip wine, and create memories! Terhune Orchards on Cold Soil Road in Princeton will offer this program of events on July 26 at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The cost to attend is $50.20 per person and includes a 45-minute easy flow yoga class accompanied by goats and tasting a flight of five Terhune wines.
Namaaaste Goat Yoga is run by Bucks County natives Ed and Eileen Bowden of Pipersville, Pa. Their troop of miniature and pygmy goats will provide the perfect opportunity to de-stress as they sit on your back, snuggle in your lap, and take a nap on your yoga mat. The size of a Beagle, these spirited and very friendly goats provide laughter therapy and plenty of goat kisses. The Bowden’s goats are a central part of the family’s regenerative farming practices. The Bowden’s seven children work with the goats daily and also oversee a congregation of chickens, roosters, and guinea hens.
Namaaaste Goat Yoga is available for private events in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is great for a memorable birthday, anniversary, retirement party, graduation celebration, or simply just a laugh with friends. The business also offers Bunny Bliss Yoga. According to their website, “Find your inner cotton-tailed peace while bunnies hop between legs and feet during yoga poses like lotus, warrior, child’s, and yes, even rabbit! Practice downward carrot pose while interacting and snuggling with these bunnies from Smith’s Corner Farm!”
