By Sarah Emily Gilbert
This evening, in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day 2016, co-anchor of the Today’s show and breast cancer survivor Hoda Kotb will be coming to the Princeton Hyatt Regency in the Carnegie Center.
According to the official website of National Cancer Survivors Day (NCSD), the day, held Sunday, June 5, 2016, “is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families, and an outreach to the community.” At 7 p.m., Kotb will help celebrate life after cancer by sharing inspirational stories of people who overcame unexpected challenges from her new book, WHERE WE BELONG: Journeys That Show Us The Way.
The free event, hosted by the Princeton HealthCare System, includes coffee, tea, desserts, and a complimentary copy of Kotb’s book. To RSVP, visit www.princetonhcs.org, and click the “REGISTER” button or call 1.888.897.8979. It’s not too late to reserve your spot!
