2016 Fourth of July Activities
Get out your finest red, white, & blue attire for these Independence Day activities in the Princeton area.
Friday, July 1, 7:30pm
A salute to America’s greatest composers with songs that reflect the American Experience. The concert will be held outdoors at Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre in Titusville (also on July 2)
Friday, July 1, 9:30pm
Free fireworks over the Delaware River in New Hope and Lambertville (occurs weekly through August 31)
NJ Symphony Orchestra Fireworks Show
Saturday, July 2, 8-9:30pm
Free concert featuring musical selections from Ghostbusters, Star Wars, The Godfather: Part III, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge, Batman and more. Fireworks show to follow. No prior ticket reservations are required. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. Rain site: Mercer County Park Skating Center, located adjacent to the park’s Festival Grounds.
Sunday, July 3, 11:30am to 3:30pm
Enjoy American favorites, straight off the grill, plus slushies and ice cream sundaes at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton. Park admission is required. Café fees apply.
Monday, July 4, Noon to 3 pm
Morven Museum & Garden hosts live bluegrass music, BBQ, historical reenactments, and more. Event is free to attend.
Independence Day at Washington Crossing Historic Park
Monday, July 4, Noon to 4 pm
The daytime celebration will be capped off at dusk with fireworks. Admission to the daytime event is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-11.
