38th Annual New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning Postponed
The 38th annual New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank, traditionally the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America, has been postponed due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.
The festival is now scheduled to take place the weekend of October 16-18, 2020 at Solberg Airport in Readington, N.J.
The safety and well-being of patrons, balloon pilots, concert headliners, vendors, staff, and the overall community are the festival organizer’s foremost concerns. While Gov. Murphy hasn’t lifted the public health emergency, organizers are hopeful that visitors can come together in the fall to celebrate the magic of hot air ballooning.
Ticket holders will be able to use their tickets, hot air balloon rides, Blue Sky memberships, etc. for the new dates in October. Those who have already purchased tickets (prior to May 2020) will receive revised tickets for the new dates via email.
2020 tickets are on sale now at http://www.balloonfestival.com/.
