All Aboard Santa’s Steam Train on the New Hope Railroad

Until December 28, the New Hope Railroad offers rides on the iconic No. 40 steam engine as participants join Santa and Mrs. Claus aboard Santa’s Steam Train as it traverses the historic countryside of Bucks County, Pa. The train departs from New Hope Station, 32 West Bridge Street, and goes to the “North Pole.”

The journey begins with the conductor’s call of “All aboard!” Wandering musicians sing as they play Christmas carols, and riders can savor warm cocoa and indulge in freshly baked cookies.

Interact with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as Santa gifts sleigh bells. Children and adults are encouraged to embrace the season’s spirit by wearing pajamas and enjoying a relaxing ride on the festively adorned railway cars.

Before concluding the railroad experience, visitors can stroll through the decorated railway station. The restored 1891 Freight House Gift Shop and the Christmas Gift Shop, located within the historic 1891 Victorian-style passenger station, will be open for business.

The New Hope Railroad also offers other excursions. For tickets and more information, visit newhoperailroad.com, or call 215.862.2332.
