Frances Palmer has been making ceramics since 1987. She was trained as an art historian and practiced printmaking before delving into pottery. Palmer states, “I love the process of changing ideas into form. My handmade ceramics are functional art – dish ware or vases that can be used on a daily basis.”

Palmer will be teaching a class at the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) on “History, Classification, and Care of Dahlias” on Tuesday, June 9.
