Hervé Tullet Coming to Princeton Public Library
Bring your kids – and your imagination – to meet the acclaimed author/illustrator on June 13.
Best-selling children’s book author/illustrator Hervé Tullet presents his latest book “My Stencil Kit,” Monday, June 13, at 5 p.m. on the third floor of Princeton Public Library. He will also demonstrate his craft and answers questions.
“My Stencil Kit” is an imaginative activity book that encourages aspiring young artists – and all children – to express themselves with art. Bright yellow circles and hashtags, green spirals and blades of grass, blue clouds and waves, and a red setting sun are among the many backdrops against which children can use the stencils in the kit to shape, color, and draw a variety of animals, trees, faces, planets, symbols, letters, and numbers to form their own creations.
The program is for children 2-10 years old. It is sponsored by the Princeton Kids Events Coalition (Princeton Public Library, Princeton Public Schools, jaZam’s, and Labyrinth Books).
All Princeton Public Library programs are free and open to the public. If programs require registration, preference is given to library cardholders. The physically challenged should contact the library at (609) 924-9529 48 hours before any program with questions about special accommodations.
