Registration is now open for the Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) timed 5K and Fun Run at Rosedale Park on Saturday, May 2. The fundraiser supports the LHT’s ongoing effort to complete the 20-mile loop.
The course follows a scenic route along the LHT. The officially certified 5K course is open to all pace levels, including walkers. For pricing, FAQs, and event details, visit the LHT 5K page at Lawrence Hopewell Trail Complete the Loop 5K. A free signup account is required to register.
The Fun Run is an approximately one-mile, non-competitive route designed especially for children, families, and walkers who prefer a shorter distance. The Fun Run is all about enjoying the trail and moving at your own pace. Participants are welcome to walk, jog, or run — strollers are welcome.
All registered participants will receive an official race T-shirt if registered before April 26. T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after that time.
Note that dogs are not permitted on the race course.
The LHT is a 20-mile multi-use trail connecting Lawrence and Hopewell townships. A course map will be posted closer to race day. Free parking will be available near the start/finish area in Rosedale Park. Packet pickup will be available on the race morning, beginning at 8 a.m.
The race will take place rain or shine. Join the sponsors and organizers after the race for a fun post-race celebration featuring refreshments, music, and local community partners.
