Celebrate Pancake Week at Princeton’s Legendary Pancake House
By Sarah Emily Gilbert
When a restaurant’s domain name is www.pancakes.com, you know they don’t mess around when it comes to flapjacks. Such is the case for Princeton’s legendary pancake house, PJ’s. It’s not uncommon to see a line of people outside the doors of 154 Nassau Street on a weekend morning, eagerly awaiting breakfast or brunch. While the local hotspot offers everything from salads to pasta, it’s their pancakes that truly draw the crowds (and the fact that you can write on their tabletops). In fact, PJ’s popularity led to the opening of a second location at Windsor Plaza in Princeton Junction. Princeton Magazine celebrates “Pancake Week” by featuring some of the decadent pancakes PJ’s Pancake House has to offer. We also highly recommend blasting Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes” and indulging in some buttery, syrupy goodness from Princeton’s breakfast mecca after reading this article.
