Skating on the Square is Back for 2022

Skating on the Square in Princeton’s historic Palmer Square reopens on Saturday, November 19 and will run through Sunday, February 26. Located on Hulfish Street behind the Nassau Inn, the “Glice rink” is not a traditional ice rink, but instead is made from heat-pressed polymers (no water or electricity required). The materials used in the rink are 100 percent recyclable and environmentally friendly. Another bonus is that no matter the outdoor temperature, the Glice rink is always open for skating (even if there’s a chance 50-degree day in December).

The rink is open every Thursday and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. The rink is closed on Thanksgiving Day and operates special holiday hours on the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (visit https://palmersquare.com/event/skating-on-the-square/ for details).

Admission is $10 cash per person or $12 plus fees when paid with a credit card. Tickets are sold on site only (no reservations). Guests can bring their own skates or borrow a pair, which is included in the ticket price.
