Spend a Night on the Town with F. Scott Fitzgerald
Who isn’t curious about the genius behind The Great Gatsby, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary of publication? Princeton Tour Company has explored anything and everything about one of Princeton’s most charming undergrads, and a special tour, The F. Scott Fitzgerald Night on the Town Tour, is scheduled for May 10 and August 30, at 5 p.m., with a duration of two hours.
This experience begins with a complimentary glass of bubbly with live jazz setting the mood to celebrate the namesake of Francis Scott Key.
Next, guests will walk to the Princeton University campus where they will see where Fitzgerald liked to party, perform on stage, dream of the good life, write articles, and study (even if only for a little bit) on campus.
The tour ends at Fitzgerald’s notorious speakeasy, where guests can linger to enjoy themed gourmet apps and specialty cocktails.
Guests who sign up must be 21 years and older. The price does not include food and drinks but expect upscale wine lists, mixologist inspired cocktails, and gourmet sundries available at each location.
(This speakeasy is now Princeton’s most exclusive and luxurious inn. Real fans will plan an overnight stay and romantic dinner. (Links to all that are in the confirmation e-ticket.).
