Terhune Orchards is celebrating 50 years of farming, family traditions, and community connections at a special free event on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the farm’s main location, 330 Cold Soil Road.

This family-friendly celebration will feature wagon rides, live music, children’s games, special giveaways, a commemorative cake-cutting ceremony, tasting of special anniversary wines, and a special photo exhibit in the farm’s 250-year-old historic barn, showcasing cherished customer memories. The winery, farm store, and Barn Door Café will be open for visitors.

Marking the start of Terhune Orchards’ fall harvest season, Terhune will host nine Fall Family Fun Weekends, beginning in early September. These festive weekends feature 30-plus attractions and activities, from corn mazes and barnyard play areas to live music, pumpkin and apple picking, and more. A special throwback Apple Day weekend will pay tribute to the original event that helped launch Terhune’s community events in the 1970s.

The 50th Anniversary Apple Days, September 13–14, is a ticketed event kicking off the fall season and honoring the original Apple Day festival.

The 2025 Annual Art Show is from September 6 to December 6, and offers a Meet the Artists Reception on Sunday, September 7.
